This season Viewers will have unparalleled access. The Burg will remain public and open to everybody for the entirety of the season. Please do not post in the Burg unless you are currently in the game. If you are viewing and you want to talk about everything Spies then post here to your heart's desire. Eliminated players are not permitted to post either in the Burg or in here. This is only for non-players only. That includes you logging out of your Spies name and posting stuff here on your real name lol, don't do that. Eliminated players will have their own private Losers Lounge where they can discuss the game. It was a success last season so I think it will be this time too. Viewers can meet the cast, read about the story of Spies 4, read exile chats, read Imprisonment stories, and experience the game as it goes on.

Faizah's cheesecake and chitlins sure look mighty tasty...yumyum! I'm still thinking about the interesting family twist. Maybe we'll have a mafia game with some elements of Survivor, but with 7 groups instead of 2.

Thank you for your nice comments. I'm interested in how the Family thing will work out as well. When I thought it up I had no idea if it would be completely ignored or create 7 distinct groups. I hope it's somewhere in the middle haha.

Wow...so Sherri got imprisoned last night huh?! As a viewer, I would have like to see her around longer. However, I guess the spies have other plans. In the short time Sherri was in the game, she was a really strong citizen. It took a lot of courage to do what she did for the betterment of the Burg. I see a lot of drama with the "rumors" thing going on. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out. By aways Adelaide, you have one wicked pet! Halloween is at the end of this month so it will be safe for you to let him out! jk

Wooo....it was a really close vote last night as Martha just edged out Kiyoshi. The confusion generated from Martha's chat outweighed Kiyoshi's inactivity. It is nice to see Sherri's idea of working together haven't been lost yet as other citizens like Naomi and Lloyd have stepped it up for the Burg. I wonder though if Naomi's idea of everyone voting the same way will work in the long run when there could be strong differences of opinions. Hey Sam...you did great work on the leaderboard and the outskirts forums! They all look magnificent!

Welcome teachesbrats! I agree there is a lot to follow. Well, the simplist way is to read every thread. lol However, if you want a quick summary of the first round, the 29 players got to decide which one of the 7 teams of 4 they wanted to be on (7x4=28 players). One unlucky player ended up imprisoned which turned out to be Sherri, a strong citizen. The players were given their assignments. In a close vote, Martha edged out Kiyoshi as the town's first exile. I hope that helps!

I am wondering if Family A comprising of Leon, Martha, Masaki, and Naomi made a mistake by not using all of their votes on Kiyoshi?! Martha voted for Kiyoshi, but the other 3 went for Beverly, maybe as a retaliation vote. If they all had gone for Kiyoshi, he would have been gone with 16 votes compared to 15 votes for Martha! The other possibility is they wanted Martha out all along, but who knows for sure?!

Cain gets the citizen gold star of the day for setting up the government files. Way to go! It kinda make sense for Naomi(Family A) to pass on the tiebreaker thing to Jeremiah(Family D). Family D was the only one where the majority of their votes went to Kiyoshi. All of the other families, outside of A and D, voted in the majority for Martha(Family A). Singe appears to be a well-meaning guy, but what's up with the "trusted people" thread?! It will only set up potential targets for the spies.

Welcome fanoflurkers! Yep, it is colorful indeed. Did you check out the haunted house? See ya Lise. I don't know why the spies picked you. Maybe, it was just a randomn choice to throw everyone off.

Woohoo...what a twist having 2 group of spies! I think it completely changes the dynamics of the game. I could see spies working with citizens to vote off the other spy group. So, it means having good relationships could be important for both citizens and spies. See ya Grace. It is important to be active otherwise the penalty points will get to you.

Overall board activity is down after Monday's exile. Maybe, people are either a) busy, b) in shock after the announcement of the latest twist, c) laying low before the next imprisonment, or a combination of the above. I luv Naomi's new cats signature. Way cool!

Wow...a lot went down yesterday! So Lloyd got imprisoned huh?! It was a tough lost for the citizens, but what a way to go uncovering Ralph the way he did. Singe did interesting work with his computer simulations and supported what I talked about earlier about citizens and spies working together. Both of you guys get the gold star. The "Schism" twist is something like a Survivor tribal switcheroo. Like all such things, it will help or hurt some players more than others. It is too bad Jeremiah has to be pick someone else after he had already passed on the tiebreaker thing to Lloyd. Three of the families who when they had possession of it lost a member (Martha & Grace & Lloyd) so I hope it is not a curse item.

It looks like Group 1 has a harder task on deciding on who to exile because there are less substantial evidence against their players so an innocent might be lost this Friday. On the other hand, there are more visible targets in Group 2 so it is a much easier vote. So, it is a good idea to do your assignments and not get exile because of penalty points like what happened to Grace last time around.

OMG...Jeremiah got blindsided! Group 1 is a harder group to figure out so I wasn't completely surprised a citizen got exiled. It wasn't cool of Naomi to stab her friend in the back like she did, but this is still a game. I like to hear the reasons why Group 1 voted for Jeremiah though.

Hmm...so Jeremiah had things going on with his life and said & acted in a suspicious & contradictory manner. Okay, I could see why the votes went his way. Well I'm looking forward to tonight's results. Maybe, the citizens will get more lucky this time around.

It looked like Ralph's role was very hard for people to believe in. It would have been more prudent if he had kept quiet about it. Woohoo...we have new families now! However, will the tiebreaker curse continue to follow the family with it or will it finally be over?! Very nice opening video Sam! You could see more of the players.

Woohoo...2 spies down...5 to go!!

Post by agentred on Oct 28, 2007 14:03:40 GMT -5
My take on Angelica's speech is that there is a possible spy war going on and each side is trying to take one another out before the other side does the same to them. Since the 2 spies groups could only imprison someone every other round, it means they have to make the best use of the imprisonment when it is their turn. It is likely they will be using it on a player they suspect as being a spy in the other spies group. If their spy suspect is wrong, the worst case scenario is a citizen leaving the game. So if you are a citizen and you want to hang around longer, don't look like a spy suspect. It also means there might be a honeymoon period for the citizens that do look like citizens while the spy war is the main focus.

Woohoo...last night's exile was intense and exciting in a very close vote! Beverly did a great job playing her character and in convincing half the Burg not to vote for her. The town is on fire right now having caught 3 spies in a row. Way to go guys!
