I can't believe that Sam let people post things anonymously tonight. It would have been the perfect opportunity to let people know that Beverly is a spy. I'm really upset about missing the exile now. If I'm imprisoned this info goes with me. I need to figure out what to do without sacrificing myself!

I've figured out what to do. Hopefully it will work. I will put my plan in action on Sunday.

It's so obvious I can't believe I didn't think of it before. The problem is the details. I do have the benefit here though since the traditionalists don't know that Beverly was an option for investigation and the orthodoxy doesn't know if the fatemaker actually chose to investigate Beverly. Hopefully the spies don't make the connection between what I'll say on Sunday and the fatemaker.
But I have to ask you a question Sam to make sure this doesn't get me kicked out of the game.
You say in the rules post: A) You are not allowed to go outside the game to show "proof" of your status as a Spy, Citizen, or other role in the game. This means you can NOT show someone a conversation that you have with me in order to "prove" that you are a Citizen. You are not allowed to take screenshots of your confessional to show that you aren't a Spy.
I do not think I have broken this rule but I have taken a screenshot of my confessional. It was NOT to "prove" my identity. It was to "prove" my prize was that picture. If you look at the thread Prize Announcements where you the burg that I won a prize and where I posted the picture, I held my mouse over the image so [image] appeared and took a screenshot to make the picture look more real. Then I rehosted the picture on a third party site - can't remember which one it was but it intentionally wasn't photobucket or imageshack. Will this get me removed from the game?
------- My plan is to say that I actually did win an investigation in round 2's challenge and in round 3 you told me the result. There is a 3 hour gap between when you posted in the burg that I won the prize and when I posted the picture which gives me enough time to say that I got the result and made the picture myself (I'll also say that's why it's so sloppy).
I'll say I didn't say anything in round 3 because of the Jeremiah business and the other exile where Beverly and I couldn't vote, and because I wanted to watch Beverly closely without her knowing.
I'll say I didn't say anything in round 4 because Angelica was a done deal.
I'll have to say I don't know which side Beverly is on.
I'll also have to say that I was really against investigating Beverly because duh it would be a waste of an investigation for me (my investigation list was Mistaki, Naomi, Cry Baby, MAGIC BOY, and Abrams)
My "proof" that the picture isn't real comes from mentioning where it's hosted ----
---- Never mind. Sam just said in IM he might have told someone he made the goofy mystery prize pic himself.
Back to square one.

Mistaki suggested I send a message with my spy suspicion to someone. I chose someone and told them I was sending the message to someone else. I'm not really because 1 is risky enough. Having them think I sent the message to someone else is enough for me.
Here's what I sent:
Summer.
I am sending this message to you and one other person. I have valuable information and in case I am imprisoned it needs to get posted.
Post this message but censor the parts I tell you to if I am imprisoned. If I'm not imprisoned talk to me on AIM ASAP.
In round 2 I earned a mystery prize. I made the picture in my confessional with some input from Sam. Then I took a screencap of it with my mouse over it so it said [image] and rehosted it. I purposely chose not to use photobucket or imageshack so I could prove that Sam didn't make it.
That picture was a decoy.
I really won an investigation.
I investigated a spy.
[Censor what is next]
I have chosen to tell you for a few reasons. In round 1 you could have voted Martha and you didn't. The spies wanted Martha out and you voted Lloyd instead. That's reason 1. Reason 2 is the Orthodoxy spies then imprisoned Lloyd instead of leading his exile. Reason 3 is you gave your points to Singe instead of Gordy. Angelica and this other spy gave their points to Gordy which makes me think the spies had an agenda to manipulate Gordy. Reason 4 is you were in the same family as Angelica before she was revealed to be a spy and if you had known that the investigation would be pushed to Angelica you probably would not have signed up to be in a family with her.
[Uncensor] Of course I could be wrong in trusting you so that is why you're not the only person who has this message.
Bottom line: Beverly is a spy. Get her out.

Naomi = SUCH A SPY, like whoa momma look at this spy, she is such a spy.
Remember - I know who gave me exile immunity - the Traditionalists and the fatemaker (me)
spies4Naomi: so what happened? spies4Candy: I know about your role spies4Candy: That's what happened
(Dead silence)
spies4Naomi: lol what? spies4Candy: Why'd you choose me?
(Dead silence)
spies4Naomi: what the hell are you talking about? spies4Candy: As if you don't know!
(More silence) spies4Naomi: lol maybe I don't? spies4Candy: Why me Naomi? spies4Candy: Why not Gordy or Singe?
spies4Naomi: who's going to exile gordy? spies4Naomi: just saying... spies4Naomi: not admiting to anything
(More silence)
spies4Naomi: why did you come about this line of thinking?
In my opinion she is busted!

Oh also Johan told me he has a role - The Priest. He gets to receive anonymous messages from the imprisoned and exiled players - including the spies.
Miranda Priestly: That is all.

I told Johan about Beverly. This means so far I have a coaltion of Johan and Summer. I know that Beverly, Emma and Angelica all wanted Abrams out so I might include Abrams too.
Sam, I'm telling people that I know about Beverly because of my "mystery prize". I'm keeping that plan after all. Could you please not confirm or deny it?

I revealed my fatemaking decision from episode 4 tonight. I'm half glad that's over half not.
I revealed it ahead of time for a few reasons.
- Abrams was being targeted and I'm pretty sure he's a citizen. I needed to save his butt
- Abrams is immune the next exile not this one which means I just bought him 2 whole rounds - unless he is imprisoned
- I received a PM today from Zander and Hannah saying there was a secret alliance and Bev was in it. I needed to get her out before someone spilled something important
- Abrams told Bev what I had told him. I had to act before she started up with "CANDY ND ABRAMS ARE SPIES TOGETHR"
- I PMed Johan about Bev being a spy. He said he told Singe. I didn't approve Singe and if Singe is a spy I would have been disposed of quietly
- I needed to buy the citizens more time before they did something stupid
- I want others to have a reason to tell me their roles
I wonder what it's like to be imprisoned. I hope I get nice compliments.

I know Bev is lying about her role because I investigated her after Ralph was exiled, in round 4. But I can't reveal that without giving myself away as the fatemaker. She's baiting me!

That exile was so intense. I can't believe it was so close.
I had no problems convincing Abrams, Summer, Johan or myself to vote for Bev.
Summer apparently convinced Madison by spilling what I told her. She says that the votes for Madison in round 2 indicate that Madison is a citizen. She still breached our confidentiality and that is NOT COOL with me. But it got Madison on board with the plan to vote Bev.
Damon and Bunni say they reached the "vote Bev" conclusion on their own. Now keep in mind that the Orthodoxy spies asked me to investigate Bev. Bunni in particular is making me raise my eyebrows because she totally saw right through Beverly but no one else did. How did she figure this out? I'm guessing she's a spy. Damon I'm not sure on yet.
Adelaide jumped from Johan to Naomi to Bev. She's so weird. I can't figure her out. Maybe she is a spy.
Hannah voted for Bev by default. She couldn't vote for Bev because of family restrictions. She initially voted Naomi. I basically groveled and pleaded with her to change.
spies4hannah: my gut says so stick with voting naomi spies4Candy: Please vote Naomi next round spies4hannah: but what if that doesnt happen? spies4Candy: You have my vote spies4hannah: for next round? spies4Candy: I will vote WITH you next round spies4hannah: alrite i will change spies4Candy: Thank you spies4hannah: alrite i changed
Mistaki shot up my list of spy suspects.
spies4Masaki: Give me your word that if Beverly is exiled you'll help me exile Naomi spies4Masaki: I can't change my vote now spies4Candy: Why the fuck would I give you my word for nothing in return? spies4Candy: What's in it for me? spies4Masaki: What's the goal of the game, Candy? spies4Candy: To vote out the spies spies4Candy: You voted to keep a spy in spies4Masaki: Right, I don't give a fuck about the order
Then he has the nerve to say to me afterwards: spies4Masaki: Well you got your wish spies4Masaki: Now help me get Naomi out spies4Candy: You did nothing spies4Masaki: I would've
I hate him and he's a spy. I hate that he asked me if I was the fatemaker and I hate that he posted in the burg that he thinks I am. Mistaki's going down.
Naomi threw her vote away on Damon. This girl is so suspicious. I can't stand it. She believed Bev? Sounds to me like the traditionalists thought about it and decided that if it came down to Bev v. Naomi, Naomi would have to take the fall.
Zander and Faizah both say they totally trust me and both voted to keep Beverly in. They're on my shit list too for being liars and two-faced.
Gordy's on my shitlist for the way he accused me of being a spy. He is so rude and mean. I bet he's an awful person in real life and everyone hates him.
Cain's a big suspect because he gave the tiebreaker to Bev and made it a win-win-win situation for himself. You don't pass a tiebreaking power to an accused spy. You just don't.
As of now I think the spies with Beverly and Emma are Naomi and Cain. I think the spies with Angelica are Mistaki and Bunni.

Well I don't know where Bunni or Cain came in, but you pretty much suspected every single spy in that confessional, and apart from those two hardly any citizens. Nice work!
Also, great read on the Summer situation.

This is what I'm talking about when I say people have no idea what I did behind the scenes. In this round alone, by playing my investigation and my mystery prize and my passion the right way, I got 4 citizens (Johan, Summer, Madison, Abrams) to trust me and let me use their votes as I wanted for the rest of the game. No one else did even though anyone else could have made these moves by acting on a spy suspicion or analyzing how others had played. I also got really good reads on who the other spies were and exiled a spy without totally incriminating myself. This was one of my favorite episodes by far.

I think Candy played a solid Episode here. She took a few gambles that paid off.
It'll be interesting to see/hear how much your "trust group" actually trusted you and why, because flawed trust groups have been the downfall of Cits in previous games. I think one of the reasons we did so well this game is because other than Zander in midgame, no Spy really weaseled their way into a position of power in a trust group.

Bev, don't get a downer on Candy because she had a role. So did Monica, your "best citizen ever", remember?
The fact is, there are ways to play roles that can be either good or bad. For example, if I had Gordy's, I would have been telling everybody of my suspicions all of the time, working overtime to find the spies, and basically doing everything that I would do if I wasn't afraid of imprisonment - the LAST thing I would do would be to deliberately pi-s people off.
Also, one can have a role and still be totally useless. Anybody remember a citizen called Taylor? (OK, she kinda stepped up at the very end when it was WAY too late for her to make any difference, but before then she barely made it online for exile most times. She had what I think is probably the best role in any Spies series, and she did NOTHING.) Roles are a part of the game. It's how you play it that counts.
