I did some rethinking and I have revised my spy theory.
Traditionalists: Emma Beverly Naomi Cain
Orthodoxy: Angelica Mistaki Bunni (or the minor possibility of Damon)
I'm still furious with the Naomi voters. If this was survivor I would just hide the knife behind my back and vote them all out. But there's a right vote and a wrong vote in this game. You can't vote out certain people or else you'll lose (not that I am going to win, since I'll be imprisoned in the next 2 rounds).
What I am getting at is Faizah.
Her suspect list from a few rounds ago: Ralph - Proven to be a citizen Madison - Votes prove she's a citizen Summer - I'm damn sure she's a citizen
She says "I really suspect Bev and think she's a spy" and then doesn't vote for her. She votes to keep her instead!
I show her the Madison votes - how Angelica voted for Madison and how Madison voted Beverly and how Emma and Beverly did not vote together to save her from the majority - and she still thinks Madison is a spy.
Faizah is a total idiot. Even if she's a spy she's an idiot. If this was survivor I would use her until I needed to get rid of her. But I have no choice but to keep her around until I think she is a spy. This is very bad.

I am very flattered by Damon's answer to the questions last round but also confused.
"3) Who do you think got Saved from Imprisonment? How do you think they were Saved? Because of the abundance of prizes that she's won and used throughout the game I'm going to say Candy! The girl seems to be unstoppable and I wouldn't be surprised if it was her who used it or who was saved."
I like that he thinks I am unstoppable ... and I did win the challenge with Abrams and Johan ... and I did "win" the exile 5 immunity ... but why does he suspect me if he realizes this?

More flattery!
spies4Zander: anyway I'm gonna go and I may be here tomorrow afternoon but won't be here tomorrow night. If I get Imprisoned, good luck and carry on with the coalition. And if you go, regardless of your character, I think you're the best and hardest working person we have on our side and it sucks

If you had asked me when I woke up this morning who would be imprisoned I would have said me. Now I think I will say Gordy because he spilled EVERYTHING - E V E R Y T H I N G - to Bev. Ohhhhhhhh god. Am I glad he doesn't know I'm the fatemaker.
Something to add in the anti-Cain thread: spies4Gordy: we agreed that spies4Gordy: between the three of us spies4Gordy: the tiebreaker was to be passed from me to Cain to Bev and back to me spies4Candy: How convenient for them spies4Gordy: so the tiebreaker was always on our side

Sam in answer to your question: On the application you asked what times we were busy. I said: "I hope I get the time zone thing right. I have class until 7:30 on Monday and Wednesday night and a club from 6:00 to 8:30 on Thursday and Sunday night." The reason why I say 9 is because I didn't take into account the time it takes to walk back from my activities and classes and to start my computer up Also my program involves a lot of group work so I have to stay after class for group meetings all the time. Sorry!!!!

All right so what's been going on the last few days?
- Mistaki and I aren't talking because he is a huge jackass with an ego the size of Greenland. Until he IMs me first I'm not saying anything to him. If I need his vote I'll tell someone else to talk to him for me.
- I still think Cain is a spy but I woke up this morning and decided to vote for Naomi instead. Every episode will have split votes so long as she's here.
I need to know what happened last episode with Godzilla (Bev) voting for Naomi.
I need to know why Naomi threw her vote away.
I need to know if Angelica's investigation holds water and if there are 2 Orthodoxy spies out there who know who the fourth Traditionalist Spy is.
So yeah it has to be Naomi. Even though Truman (Cain, for passing the buck instead of letting the buck stop here - it's sarcasm) is useless and a spy.
- I now have MAGIC BOY, Pudgette, Abrams, Madison, Kip, Summer and Johan in my group of trusted citizens. I need to find a way to unite the 8 of us but I gotta be careful in case I have included a spy (I am most worried about Abrams and Summer) and in case the information gets out that I'm leading something big.
- I need to figure out why the Traditionalist spies "role blocked" Cain! The Orthodoxy spies have powers so why wouldn't the Traditionalists target a likely Orthodoxy spy? Is throwing the Fatemaker off the trail really more important than blocking an Orthodoxy spy power? Surely Naomi would know better.

Also I recognize the irony of me saying Masaki has a big head when I play a completely self-centered and self-absorbed character.
In real life I'm very crafty and devious but I'm also very vulnerable to criticism. That's why I've never won a survivor game with my friends.

Talent =/= alignment... you should learn this and internalize before it comes back to smack you in the face with a salmon.

Singe - Read the question Damon was asked:
3) Who do you think got Saved from Imprisonment? How do you think they were Saved?
Because of the abundance of prizes that she's won and used throughout the game I'm going to say Candy!
Damon said he thought I STOPPED the imprisonment. As a spy? Spare me. If he thought I stopped the imprisonment he shouldn't have suspected I was a spy. Citizen with a role or a spy. Not both.

Damon said: "I wouldn't be surprised if it was her who used it or who was saved."
If you used it, it doesn't make you more townish because it could have just as easily been your Spy-mate who was saved from Imprisonment. If you were saved, it makes you slightly more Cittish because it implies that a spygroup targeted you, but you could still be a member of the opposing faction.
Basically, there were plenty of reasons to suspect you until you claimed Fatemaker. Your claims on Cithood seemed to rely upon:
1) You investigated Bev (but could still be an Ortho) 2) You were good at challenges (as would be any Ortho) 3) You were making efforts to find Orthos (but were much more visibly concerned about nailing the last Trad, which was notable)
I'd be interested to hear when and why Summer and anyone else decided Candy was essentially a Cit.

Singe, keep in mind that since you weren't here in the middle of the game, you didn't get to experience working with Candy at the crucial points.
Why I believed Candy was a Citizen:
1. Her idea synthesis & looking at the big picture
2. Not overtrusting her followers
3. Actively targeting Spies - BOTH Orthodoxy and Traditionalists (the line that she was only concerned with the Orthodoxy is, in my opinion, purely Singe and Masaki propaganda)
4. Citizen coalition former
5. Acted selfishly, not as a team player
6. Persona - total confidence, no paranoia
7. Timing (Ex: Outting Beverly, a Traditionalist Spy, in exile 5, when the Traditionalists controlled the next immediate imprisonment, imprisonment 6!)
This is all off the top of my head. There are probably many more reasons.
But honestly, Todd, there are so many ways to approach this game. Candy nailed Abrams, me, and Johan as citizens. I nailed Madison. You never looked at any of the 4 of us. You missed things and you seem to have a hard time accepting this.

Well firstly she outed Bev, which made her out to be almost certainly not a traditionalist; and I had a lot better Orthodoxy suspects (Angie, Hannah, Faizah, Zander, Masaki) than Candy. Secondly there was her persona, which I agree with Summer on basically (although Bev's living proof that you can't go on that too much.) More importantly than either of those though, none of my prime suspects seemed to have the right kind of relationship with Candy, or her with them. I really couldn't see anybody who might be a partner of Candy's in the spy sense. Other than the Jeremiah / Cain / Bunni suspicions, neither of which I seriously suspected for basically the same reasons as I thought Candy was innocent (although Cain's giving the tiebreaker to Bev did make me pause and look at him more closely - it seemed to me to be the one non-trumped-up piece of evidence against him) she hadn't defended the wrong people or accused the wrong people. The only time I seriously suspected Candy was when Jeremiah went, but it looked as though she was being "used" by Naomi and Faizah (the same way that I thought Bev was). It's a common spy tactic to attach yourself to a stronger personality and use them to control the game without drawing attention to yourself. Candy seemed like the personality, not the spy.

You missed things and you seem to have a hard time accepting this. What I said was, "I'm interesting in hearing why you found Candy to be a Cit." Meaning, I didn't have interactions with her personally that led me to believe she was a gg. And as you say, I was missing for this crucial stretch of the game and had no chance to chat 1-on-1 with Candy to get a read on her. When I got back I had to rely on her forum posts, plus the next several game events: * Her behavior towards Bunni * Her railroading of Cain * Her inexplicable trust of the dangerous Zander and Summer * Her choice to blindside Mistaki instead of using persuasion * Her placement of me as her #1 exile target * Her outing of my role to Faizah and others * Her desire to have me exiled regardless of whether or not I had a Cit Role. * Her selfish desire to exile Kip Look at the world from MY perspective and it should be EASY to understand why I didn't trust Candy fully til the moment she claimed. Thanks for clarifying why YOU found her clear, DC, that's what I was looking for.
