IMPRISONMENT II Day Seven in the Burg. People are starting to get into the swing of things and bracing themselves for the long haul. Some people are fading into the background, others are coming forward now that the first days are past. For some the excitement of the first few days has worn off, for others it is intensifying. With 27 people arguing in the Burg it can be hard to get a word in edgewise. Especially if you’re one of the honest ones.
How do you convince other people that you are a Citizen? That’s tricky, as everyone is a suspect and rightfully so. Probably the only way to boost your status amongst the Citizens, besides being investigated as one, is to catch a Spy. Sure Spies vote for Spies sometimes, but for them there’s still risk involved and they have to be careful.
Would you even want to be thought of as a definite Citizen? If you are, then the Spies wouldn’t be too happy about that...
This Imprisonment will work differently in terms of who is safe and who is not. Instead of starting with everybody vulnerable and making people safe, we will start with everybody safe and make people vulnerable. Each segment of the story will introduce people as vulnerable. At the end one of the people vulnerable will be Imprisoned.
Let the story begin. VULNERABLE:

“Do you really think this is a good idea all considered?” Lise asked Hannah as they stood in front of a once-abandoned building. “I know it’s Halloween and all, but I’m pretty sure we’ve all had enough nightmares to fill our quota for the next decade.”
Lise and Hannah stood in front of Zander’s elaborate Haunted House. Zander had spent the last week constructing the menacing manor inside an abandoned two-story building. He had brought in tables, chairs, curtains, mannequins, and various other objects to set up the perfect Haunted House.
“Oh it’s just a little harmless fun.” Zander said reassuringly. “Besides I’ve been working dawn to dusk to set up this thing for the last week – you guys just have to try it out!” Zander nudged Lise and Hannah through the front door as he began to encourage the other people standing around to enter as well.
“Uh, can’t you think of better ways to use your time?” remarked Hannah as she reluctantly walked through the imposing double doors and into the Haunted House. VULNERABLE:

“Stick your hand in this mysterious covered box,” boomed a voice from the shadows. “You are about to feel the living, breathing, oozing intestines of a human being!”
Some guests took a step back, but Ralph stepped forward and stuck his hand in the dark box, feeling the “intestines” inside. Pulling his hand out, Ralph grabbed the substance and ate it.
“Mmm… spaghetti.”
The others laughed, relieving the tension. Each stepped forward one by one to put their hands in boxes to feel various parts of the human body. Cauliflower brains, peeled grape eyeballs, and canned peach liver were inside the boxes.
“Well that wasn’t so bad. That was actually kind of fun.” Beverly said. VULNERABLE:

The guests went through several other activities in the Haunted House. They heard ghost stories, were spooked by scarecrows jumping out of dresser drawers, and surprised by forboding light tricks. Finally, after several events, the night was coming to an end.
Eager to head to another room and participate in more activities, Adelaide and Grace walked down the hall and away from the group. Turning the corner Adelaide walked down another hallway and found a door opened just a crack. By this point the group had finally caught up with her. Grace peeked inside the door. The host and creator of the Haunted House, Zander, turned the corner and jogged down the hall catching up with them.
“I was wondering where all my guests went!” Zander said. “Thought I had lost you for a moment. Unfortunately that’s all the events I have planned for tonight. I hope you enjoyed the haunted house, I had an amazing time hosting it..."
“What about this room?” Adelaide interrupted, opening the door a little. She peeked inside.
“That’s just the storage room.” Zander said. VULNERABLE:

“Look, it’s all set up!” Kip said as he walked inside. The room had been transformed into a mirror maze. A convoluted path of mirrors lined the walls, creating a cramped hidden path forward. It was extremely difficult to navigate through the mirror maze as your reflection peered back at you from every direction. It was nearly impossible to tell what was glass and what was open space.
“Uh, guys, I didn’t create this room. I didn’t even know it was here.”
“Yeah right!” Ralph said, beginning to walk through the maze. “What a fantastic finale to this Haunted House!”
“No seriously guys, I wouldn’t go in there if I was you…” VULNERABLE:

All the visitors to the Haunted House had entered the mirror maze. Bumping into the glass with their noses and toes, they walked forward trying to navigate the maze and reach the end.
One villager wasn’t about to reach the end of the maze, but they were about to reach an end of a different kind. They walked forward and into a circular open space. Twenty mirrors lined the walls like a circle. Twenty reflections stared back at them, a carbon copy of themselves.
One by one the person looked at each of the twenty reflections, rotating around slowly to see them all… VULNERABLE:

This person froze when
they noticed that
one of the reflective mirror images they were staring at
wasn’t of themselves.
A hooded figure jumped out from the empty space and wrapped a black cloth around your head!
Lise has been plucked from the Burg and captured by the Enemy.
You will never see her again. Lise, please post Final Words in your confessional immediately. Judge Sam: "I enjoyed having you play Lise. You kept up with the game well and I liked reading your conversations and confessionals. I am saddened that it had to come to a premature end for you this time as I would have loved to see what you had to offer in the upcoming days. Unfortunately that is a part of the game. I wish you the best in future games." And with that, Lise is gone, never to be heard of again. All it took was one word from the Spies and Lise was whisked away. It could happen to any of us at any time. The only way to stop it is to catch all the Spies, a task I hope we can begin on Monday. Live Exile II will be held 8:30 PM CST Monday, where we will have another chance to Exile a Spy. Recall that Damon is going to be replaced and the verdict is still out on Kiyoshi, but those will be settled by tomorrow so I wouldn't worry about them. I'll see you there.
