EXILE II
Judge Sam: “Welcome to Exile II. Let’s recap the announcements.
First, we have an important reveal after tonight’s Exile. So read at the end for more information.
Second, I’ve noticed that some of the announcements and official posts I make are missed by some. I will try and be more clear and make sure that I only place important announcements in places everyone can see them. Some important announcements will be made in the Burg – I’ll sticky those.
I’m also going to use the Announcements forum for what it was intended – making announcements. So if you see a new post there check it out ASAP. Also you should read the News Fader (let it scroll through until it repeats). I update that every day.
Third, there has been lots of discussion about “lurkers” and inactives and the lot. That’s a good discussion to have in the first few days. Spies is a game where you can spend 30 minutes a day playing or several hours playing, it’s all up to you. Some people have different schedules and commitments but still try and play their hardest when they have the time.
I truly believe that everybody, with the exception of the person going tonight, is trying their best to play the game as much as they can, whether it be for one hour or three. So I am very pleased in that respect. So even though some players may contribute less on AIM or on the boards, with all the time we have there should be plenty of evidence collected over the weeks to judge them just as completely as everyone else.
Individual Questions are just a click away. Just because you didn’t come to the live Exile doesn’t mean you can get out of doing questions! Come back and do them as soon as you can. I’ll be posting now to grill people who gave crappy answers or didn’t answer.
As you know, Candy won Immunity from Exile II at Challenge II, so you can’t vote for her. It’s time for the voting to commence…
Sam stands up resolutely, picks up the voting shoebox, and begins walking amongst the townspeople. One by one, they drop their vote into the shoebox. Some are satisfied with their choice, others are nervous and unsure. Everyone - Citizens and Spies alike - are praying that their name does not come up.
Judge Sam: "All of the votes have been received and verified, and a result has been decided. Let the Exiling begin."
Hmm… looks like we have a vote stuffed in at the last minute… odd. I’ll have to put a lock on this voting shoebox thing. Looks like we’ll have to count this vote:
Kip, by Unknown.
Now without any further adieu… the 1st vote..
Jeremiah, by Candy.
Hannah, by Summer.
Beverly, by Damon.
Madison, by Hannah.
Grace, by Johan.
Naomi, by Gordy.
Gordy, by Masaki.
Cain, by Adelaide.
Wheee… that’s 1 for Jeremiah, Hannah, Beverly, Madison, Grace, Naomi, Gordy, Kip, and Cain. Nine different people with votes. What a mouthful!
The 9th vote goes to:
Hannah, by Bunni.
Madison, by Angelica.
Grace, by Zander.
Beverly, by Madison.
Kip, by Abrams.
Gordy, by Kip.
That adds one to the totals of Hannah, Madison, Grace, Beverly, Kip, and Gordy. They all have 2 votes. Cain, Naomi, and Jeremiah have been left behind for the moment with just 1 vote.
With fifteen votes and only two for one person, it won’t take much for someone to go, as it only takes a plurality of votes to kick someone out.
Unfortunately, we have to interject with some penalty votes.
, Johan, Johan by Johan for not posting 2 conversations in Episode II.
That brings Johan on to the Two Votes List.
The 15th vote…
Hannah, by Beverly.
Beverly, by Cain.
Madison, by Lloyd.
Kip, by Emma.
Hannah, Beverly, Madison, Kip.
3 for Hannah, 3 for Beverly, 3 for Madison. 3 for Kip. All have moved up the ladder to the 3 vote category. Johan, Grace, and Gordy have been left behind at 2 votes for the moment.
The 19th vote…
Kip, by Ralph.
Madison, by Naomi.
Hannah, by Leon.
Kip, Madison, Hannah. All have jumped to 4 votes.
Beverly was left behind at 3.
Johan, Grace, and Gordy have 2.
Cain, Naomi, and Jeremiah have 1.
Unfortunately, two people must surpass them all as we have a few penalty votes to count. If you don’t play the game, you won’t be playing it for very long. Nobody wants to play with inactives.
, , , , Singe, Singe, Singe, Singe, Singe, by Singe for not voting in Exile II.
, , , Grace, Grace Grace, Grace by Grace for not posting 2 conversations in Episode II (2nd time).
Grace now leads with 6. Singe comes in with 5. Kip, Madison, and Hannah have 4.
The 22nd vote…
Madison, by Jeremiah.
6 votes for Grace, 5 votes for Madison, 5 votes for Singe. There’s only two more votes left to count….
The 23rd vote…
Madison, by Faizah.
Grace VS. Madison. 6 apiece. Singe has 5, he could tie with both of them if he gets just one more vote. Grace and Madison could tie if the last voter votes for someone different. Or Grace or Madison could be leaving tonight.
If there is a tie, we will have a live revote. If that remains a tie, then the Tiebreaker, currently Jeremiah, will select who goes.
Grace is the last one to vote.
The final vote…
, , , , Grace, Grace, Grace, Grace, Grace by Grace for not voting at Exile II.
Final Vote Count:
Grace: 11
Madison: 6
Singe: 5
Hannah: 4
Kip: 4
Beverly: 3
Gordy: 2
Johan: 2
Cain: 1
Jeremiah: 1
Naomi: 1
Grace - You have been Exiled from the Burg under suspicion of being a Spy. It is now your time to leave. Goodbye.
Judge Sam: "This was your own doing. Goodbye Grace.”
Grace: Please post Final Words in your confessional immediately.
Grace takes one last look at their former friends. Saddened by being suspected of a Spy by the people they didn’t know, they take their supplies and compass and head out into the wilderness, disappearing into the sunset. You will never see them again.
It is now time to find out if this person was truly a Spy. If they were, we will rejoice in becoming one step closer to safety and security. If they were not, no biggie.
Grace was a....
Citizen.
Judge Sam: “It is ironic that all week there was a huge discussion about voting together as a group to prevent the Exile of an inactive and then this happened. Perhaps it is for the best. Clearly we could not come to any sort of a decision with the votes scattered around everywhere.
As for Grace going, I’d say think of it as a no-lynch.”
Imprisonment III is non-live 7:00 PM Wednesday. Exile III is LIVE 9:00 PM CST Friday.
As you know already, there are 2 groups of Spies working against each other. For more information, read all about it here.
Good night!
People are unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Love them anyway.
If you do good, people may accuse you of selfish motives. Do good anyway.
If you are successful, you may win false friends and true enemies. Succeed anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow. Do good anyway.
Honesty and transparency make you vulnerable. Be honest and transparent anyway.
What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight. Build anyway.
People who really want help may attack you if you help them. Help them anyway.
Give the world the best you have and you may get hurt. Give the world your best anyway.
