We haven't done this since Spies 2 (and that thread was completely hijacked by drama, but then again, what wasn't?)
So Sam, what moments made you laugh out loud this game?
What do you consider the best moves made in the game?
When were your expectations of a player/players exceeded?
Why is the gestation period of an elephant so long?

When were your expectations of a player/players exceeded? This is a VERY good question! Let me just look down the list. Before doing so however let me just say that I already had super high expectations for many of my previous players. So if you're name isn't on the list it means that I already had high expectations for you so you couldn't have exceeded it all that much. Although Ross has played A++++++ games for me before, when playing the unique role of Sherri my expectations were greatly exceeded. I spent like maybe 10 minutes thinking up the character and Ross expanded upon it in a way I never would have imagined. As you can see in Sherri's confessional at times I thought he was playing things TOO good haha. Very very amazing. Jeremiah is one of the players that I think would have really shined had he been in a little bit longer. He did play a strong role in many of the things that happened and was very involved (even if he didn't write confessionals haha). I am very excited to see how he plays future games. Beverly pulled off a unique Spy strategy I haven't seen before and I commend Blake for it. Very impressive. Gordy kicked tons of ass. Incredibly impressive. Adelaide was an amazing personality, I love the uniqueness of Samson / the character. Always a joy to watch quirky, exciting, personable, and vivacious players like him. Masaki did very very very well as a Spy and for surviving an incredible 43 days. Insanely impressive. I was impressed with how Bunni handled some of the negativity thrown at her. That takes maturity and wisdom that Stacy has. Faizah kicked ass in a lot of ways. Knowing Tyler from watching him play Survivor (and win one game out of 21 people and place 5th out of 38 people) I know he has mastered the art of social manipulation and I knew he would go very very far. He didn't quite make those connections to take him to the final step but still performed magnificently. I was very pleased to see Singe last as long as he did, I thought he might be out early on. He had a role which put him in danger (the role was kind of designed with a martyr-like component) and yet he was a huge, outspoken person in the Burg... the best of both worlds which worked out for him. I was so impressed! Love his logic, intensity, participation, etc. I was impressed with Hannah in every way I could be impressed. She wrote extensive, witty confessionals, talked with many people despite the time zone, woke herself up at like 5am her time for Exiles (I don't know if I'd do that lol), and brought so much to the game in so many ways. <3 <3 <3 <3 Of course Candy but you all are tired of hearing about me talk about her. Unbelievably impressive. Zander played so good he even fooled me with his Citizen-acts. You can't play as a Spy much better than that. Amazingly impressive. And since this is Summer's question I guess I have to include her. If I was watching this game but didn't know people's aliases, and you asked me who I thought Summer was... DC would have been my last guess haha. And that's an amazing, super positive thing! Obviously DC is insanely good at mafia, but for her to take a different strategy she's not familiar with and succeed with it so exceptionally, so fantastically, catching most of the spies and lasting to the end 4/29 is incredible. When I play Survivor I play with the same strategy every time (mostly). It'd take me 9 games of practicing another strategy to succeed with it, yet DC won her first game with a new strategy. Beyond impressive. Sorry if I didn't mention you, like I said it just means that I love you already and so you met my super-high expectations from what I've already seen from you.

Omg Sam <3 Even though it might seem like I'm used to hearing compliments, I'm really not (Nor do I need to get MORE into my personal life than I ever have, but it truly means a whole lot that you were willing to compliment on my perceptive nature... If I could fool the awesome host that picked me as a spy, imagien what I could have done if I had always 100% tried... Unfortunately the end met ill circumstance, and it hadnt I may very well have persisted another week longer. But still, you have no idea how honorable it is that you have complimented me so briefly yet so thorougly... I'm so honored...

Would you do an All Stars ever? Where you had to pick one of your characters to play against Spies legends.

I get this question a lot. The thing is, because past players can play in any game, every game basically is an All-Stars. If I were to make an "All-Stars" game, then the only thing I would be doing is restricting the game from new players. That's terrible lol, I like new players a lot. So it's not going to happen unless I get bored of hosting Spies and want to do something else.

Who did you like more? Anneliese or Zander? I know this is technically Sam's question, but hell I'm gonna answer it anyway. Zander I barely knew, but I did think he did a phenomenal job as a spy. I just couldn't see us getting on personally though. Anneliese and I clashed a lot, personality-wise. And of course Zander and I got into a huge and completely unproductive argument in Adelaide's game. That's a shame because I think the Anneliese/Zander monster is a great player. I'd just like to go through a game without swearing at him at some point. And now that I've said that, I bet we'll be allies and firm friends in the next game we're both in... these things are unexpected like that.

How many applications do you get and how many do you usually have to turn down? Whenever someone asks me this question I respond vaguely with a non-answer. I like to keep this a secret. However, if you think that advertising the game will lead there to be more competition for you and will raise the possibility of you not being accepted - there is nothing that could be more false. In fact, you are literally 999 times more likely not to be accepted because the game won't even begin without enough applications than the other thing. The suckiest part about this whole thing is advertising it - it takes forever, it's very difficult, it's frustrating. If I can't sell an amazing, free, unique experience how do people sell $1,000 watches??? lol. Yeah answer that and also answer was Ara Duvall going to be accepted? Ara Duvall was going to be a bitch that everyone would fear. But I never checked my email on time I sent you multiple e-mails to which you didn't respond. Watching people do Challenge II - Task 19 Tasks at Once was hilarious. Especially Task Biddleyboo (yell at someone), the Diva's Goldlilocks task, and a bunch of the other challenges. Also I liked reading funny group chats in which people weren't being obnoxious idiots. The beetle thing was funny. Lots of Hannah's snarky statements were funny. The Judge thing was great. I also liked watching non-game related stuff and interactions.

<3 DIVAS
Do you really mean it when you root for your citz at exiles? I remember in spies 3, you said you might try being pro-spy at exiles.
When I host games I always root for my mafia.

My question for Sam:
Do you think that Mountain Dew is the greatest drink in the universe? And if not... Have you checked into a mental institution yet? ;D

Oooh, there's one I forgot. How often do you sleep? I need lots of sleep. 8-10 hours a night. My question for Sam: Do you think that Mountain Dew is the greatest drink in the universe? And if not... Have you checked into a mental institution yet? ;D Mountain Dew * is the greatest ^ drink - in the universe +. * not from a real mountain^ as judged by a batty grasshopper- not recognized as a valid claim by the FDA+ as perceived by a rabid sea otter

Do you ever have bouts of insomnia because I swear you were giving me fatemaking decisions at 4 am on school nights Hannah was so funny, you're right. "We can't find the Orthodoxy spies because I ate them. zomg i have spy in my tummy!" One of my favorite twists was the critiques but I don't think they were effective especially for the spies. What do you think? And I gotta ask: what are your true feelings on polls?
