Week 5
Shane decides that in the event he is eliminated, he will pass his Decision Maker role to Raphael, a spy.
Shane is Imprisoned early into the week, as suspicions of Anneliese have begun to increase after her faulty exiles.
Anneliese and her group begin to become insistent that they must find at least two spies within the original group, and one of them must be an original Jakub voter. Their choices are down to Jessica or Miles, as mathematically Anneliese knows that Reicheru and Jack MUST be citizens. Anneliese guns for Miles after he reveals to her privately that he has a role, "The Inheritor", which obtains citizen roles after they have been eliminated.
Anneliese's bunker detonates after she tells more people, including Arthur and Bruce, meaning a spy has posted the word in their confessional.
Shane is Imprisoned live, and Matthew goes public with his opinions that Anneliese is both a bitch and a spy. Matthew, regarded as one of the more annoying players, successfully helps the Spies to lead 3 citizen bandwagons for the next exile.
On the night of exile, many strong emotions are shared. Trina and Anneliese attempt to persuade the other to vote how they want, while Anneliese knows that Trina's target, Jack, is a citizen. Trina informs Anneliese that Taylor is the gift giver, and that they must work together. She states "Don't worry, I will make absolute sure that you are not leavinig tonight." Anneliese is confused, because Trina had retracted her role claim publicly in the previous week.
Anneliese and Jack share a sincere moment when they realize that one of the two of them will be leaving. Though their bond was random and unintended, they created one of the strongest friendships in the game that Spies has seen.
Trina and Bebe, another unseparable duo, share all final thoughts with one another, and Trina confides any last minute information with Bebe. Bebe, as a spy, continues to relay this information to all her spy companions.
At the live exile, no votes are revealed. Instead, Trina has activated her Do or Die ability in an effort to save Anneliese. She chooses to void the exile votes and instead pick one target. If the target is a spy, they are exiled and she will stay. If they are a citizen, Trina is exiled and the target will stay. Regardless of her huge suspicions of several strong suspects, including Jessica being at the top of her list, Trina chooses to use her power on Jordan, who is barely active.
This is regarded by many as one of the most confusing, hilarious, and disappointing moments in Spies history.

I'm still shocked at how fast everyone was able to drop the bunker information as not pointing to Spies. I must've posted at least twice that it pointed to Tenchi and Jessica being Spies, but "everything was straighten out". I should never have saved you! It's all Anneliese's fault! lmao if you never saved me you would have had 0 credibility and people would have exiled you before Tenchi or Jess

Week 6
Immediately after Trina's departure, Anneliese decides to set up a group of citizens she has confirmed. For the first time in the entire game, a large group of people who are ALL citizens are brought together:
Taylor, The Gift Giver Jordan, a Confirmed target from Trina's Do or Die Anneliese, The Builder, confirmed by the gift Taylor used on Trina to identify them as the same alignment. Jack, Confirmed by Anneliese's Role Reicheru, also confirmed by Anneliese's role
With a group of 5 citizens, they strongly believe they can defeat the 5 spies. Anneliese, Jack, and Reicheru develop a plan to place equal suspicion on each of them from each of them, in order to prevent their Imprisonment.
Anneliese also asks each member to PM her their individual suspicions. When the final tally is made up, Jordan has not responded, and two spies rank in the Top 3 of the list. Miles, who is listed as #1, is decided upon as the next target by the group.
Anneliese's public role claims / lies / withdrawn role claims finally catch up to her, and she is Imprisoned by the Spies. She shares heartfelt goodbyes with everyone, and asks her group to continue on without her.
Immediately after Anneliese's Imprisonment, a challenge is held, and the winner will be given a private investigation. Despite Jack publicly saying that he will target Bebe this week, her group gives her the investigation. She uses it on Jessica, saying that she is now a confirmed citizen. Few remaining players question this move enough to eliminate either one of them.
Miles, though furious with Anneliese revealing his role, has Inherited the Builder role and is attempting to reconstruct the Bunker. This proves futile, as he is eliminated at exile by the suspicions Anneliese placed on him prior to her departure.
This week becomes another double-exile, and Jack is targeted almost unanimously by the entire cast, regardless of being confirmed by Anneliese. The Loser's Lounge is shocked by this move, and they are convinced that citizens are doomed to lose.
Week 7
It is the final round of the game, and the Spies have done an excellent job of manipulating the citizens. However, Reicheru finally rounds up everyone she believes to be a citizen, and decides to target Tenchi, her first friend in the game, at the next exile.
Although the spies did not target Jordan for Imprisonment, he is Imprisoned due to inactivity. The spies become furious that the events of the game have played against them on several levels.
To put icing on the cake, Sam allows the Loser's Lounge to send a message publicly, though the amount of characters they may use is limited. It states:
"Confirmed: Jordan / Taylor lead vote. Straying = Spy. Vote TOGETHER. We support UNCONFIRMED Bruce. Vote Jess."
Despite the Loser's Lounge advice, and firm belief that the investigation results must be a lie (Jessica and Reicheru are the only original Jakub voters, and Reicheru is confirmed to Anneliese), the citizens rally against Tenchi, while the spies rally against Arthur.
The vote comes down to 5-5 surprisingly, as Reicheru managed to get all citizens together. However, when the vote comes down to Bruce, he allows Claire to sway him into voting for Arthur.
The spies successfully sweep the game in one of the most impressive efforts that Spies has seen.

Spies 3
~26 Players (15 originals, 11 collected) ~ 21 Citizens ~ 5 Spies (Tenchi, Jessica, Bebe, Claire, Raphael) ~ 5 Roles - The Builder - Anneliese(Gets players to post words in their confessionals, can construct a guardian-like role if enough points are reached. If the word is posted by a spy, the bunker is destroyed and cannot be re-built.) - Do or Die - Trina (Can nullify one exile and instead, the user targets one player. If that player targeted is a spy, the user stays in the game and the spy is exiled. If the target is a citizen, the user is exiled instead.) - Gift Giver - Taylor (Divides gifts up among players in the game. Gifts are limited and players cannot be given more than one). - The Inheritor - Miles (Takes on a citizen role that has been eliminated). - Decision Maker - Shane (Various applications. Can receive self-votes to save people from Imprisonment, can break ties, etc.).
~ Winner: The Spies (Tenchi, Jessica, Claire, Bebe, Raphael)
~Honorable Mention Moments/Hilarity: - Jessica and Miles in the hot tub - Reicheru's freakout - Bunker Drama - Imprisonment #5 Mole-Like Video Elimination - Do or Die - Costume Party - 2 Challenges - The Collective reveal - Reicheru Gone Wild - Matthew

I said before that Spies 3 was the worst from a viewers point of view. But I was wrong, it was highly entertaining!!!! And the board was the best. Actually Spies 5 is the best. Spies 3 had the hottest girls.

Spies 4 STATS LATER
Episode 1 A massive 29 players enter the game and straight off the bat 3 players make a huge impression pre-roles. The first was Beverly who talked only in capital letters and sent a PM to the "hot" people of the game telling there would be a "hook-up" chat on AIM that night. She annoyed many players namely Abrams, Lise and Madison. Ralph and Lloyd also made a huge impact on Day 0 when they publicly had a vicious fight on AIM that was staged as Lloyd had made an "alliance" with Ralph in case they became spies and fighting with each other was the best way to hide their affiliation. Lloyd and Beverly immediately became friends and would start the group known as the "Divas" with Faizah, Bunni and later Hannah. It was to serve in Beverly's favour if she became a spy as she had a group that trusted her.
Roles and Identities were given and the "Traditionalist" Spy Group of Masaki, Beverly, Emma and Naomi were shocked to learn that there was only four Spies... or so they thought. For the first 2 episodes there would be 2 groups of Spies unkown to each other and only one group could win. The other group consisted of Angelica, Zander and Faizah, they were called the "Orthodoxy".
Candy was assigned as the "Fatemaker" who had to make a different game impacting decision every round. Singe was assigned as the "Bodyguard" to protect players from imprisonment. Johan was the "Priest" who could be contacted by the dead and later resurect them. Finally Gordy was the "Martyr" who had to get imprisoned within the first 6 rounds to win a prize, the earlier the exile the better and he would survive that exile.
The 29 players were asked to divide into families of 4 to make getting to know players easier. For some this was the oppurtunity to make powerful cliques eg. the Divas or the Gordy-Ralph-Madison-Zander family. For some it worked to their disadvantage eg. Adelaide and Jeremiah landing with 2 inactives.
Sherri didn't seem to want to join any family as she was concentrating on guiding the players. She gave alot of advice and talked to every player. When she became the first imprisonment of the game it was revealed that she was Tenchi from Spies 3. The player who played Tenchi (Ross) could not dediciate enough time to Spies 4 but asked Sam could he play for one round. As a result he was given a mission - to guide the players until the first imprisonment. Sherri was well received and her advice to "stick together" was frequently referred to.
Martha, played by an experienced Spies player immediately spotted strange behaviour by Angelica. Almost straight away she figured out her allignment as a spy. However, a combination of Beverly the Spy cleverly criticising players like Adelaide and Abrams for wanting to get rid of an inactive, the fact that the character of Martha was heavily role playing and making players suspicious and the fact that Martha sent a PM to a group of Angelica's friends that accused Angelica, Martha became an immediate first target for exile.
In a conversation with Naomi, a Traditionalist, Zander said name all 4 trad spies coincidentally.
Many players campaigned against this namely Adelaide, Jeremiah and Abrams and voted for Kiyoshi. Ralph wanted to get rid of Lloyd because he found his public fighting with players very similar to the Day 0 fights he had with Ralph that were faked. Him and Madison later promised to vote for Kiyoshi in the end however.
Coming up to the exile deadline Ralph and Madison changed their mind and decided to vote along with their family and as a result Martha was exiled much to the dismay of Addy, Jeri and Abrams.
Lloyd took Martha's exile the hardest and criticised everyone who voted her including his own group, the Divas.
So far, some of the game's most noteworthy and loud players (Hannah, Masaki, Naomi, Candy, Singe & Gordy) had not made their impact and little did anyone know just how major it would be.
Must be included: Lise's hilarious imprisonment. Jeremiah's exile. Ralph's exile. Addy's crazy theory on Gordy. Addy's backstabbing Beverly. Beverly's excellent role claim. Ralph's roleclaim. Hannah being investigated. The Singe-Johan-Candy-Kip drama. The critiques and Adelaide's 11 critiques. The debatable impact of players from beyond the grave (Gordy res, Dreamcatcher addy etc) Kip and Damon being replaced Very NB Abrams, Emma and Madison's expulsion.
Someone continue this if I dont which I probably won't because I'm so busy right now BUT INCLUDE THE ABOVE PLOT POINTS AND MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE EVERY PLAYER IN THE GAME SOMEHOW.

holy shitttttt the day by day recaps I spent an ungodly amount of time on would have worked here (kinda). damn!!! lol. Well I guess these are shorter which is good and picks out the important parts and cuts out most of the quotes which is good. But still. Argh. The ones you guys did are amazing though and will be copied over to every board from Spies 5 - 15.

Sorry. If you want to add stuff in, feel free... I knew it would be hard for me to focus on both sides of the thing, especially because I really only talked to and noticed people from the original group. Although at the same time I think citizens doing things wrong is what helped the Spies win, but I certainly don't want to start an argument

LOL Samson
In all seriousness though:
The Spies of Spies 3 were up against some really smart people & good competitors - Blake, Trey, Paul, Jeff, Ryan, Mike, Yves, Dan, etc. You guys aren't stupid people, though you did do stupid things like ignoring the Bunker drama. The citizen fuckups were, in my opinion, only half the reason the Spies won.
The rest of the credit belongs to the Spies themselves.
Here's the key to why the Spies in Spies 3 won with a total shutout and no other Spies group has been able to win a game:
In Spies 1, 2, and 4, the Spies in general were all free agents. Spy HQ threads with the most discussion were always role-oriented and imprisonment-oriented. After imprisonments, they all went off and did their own thing, following the citizens as they made mistakes. Overall, they lacked long-term strategies and they lacked vision (there are a few individual exceptions, but I think this is true for the groups of Spies as a whole). The Spies were never a solid, cohesive unit, working together to control the game.
But under Tenchi's leadership, the Spies of Spies 3 worked together to plot and enact strategies. Every round, we discussed:
- Who we wanted to exile and the parts everyone would play in making sure that happened
- Our backup plans in case there was a twist or something fell through
- Who was to be exiled next and how we could set that up
- The relationships that were going on in the game and how we could exploit them (Tenchi's color-coded chart was such a brilliant idea). We made sure every citizen was tight with at least 1 Spy at all times (this was my favorite thing about Claire and Raphael - they were always able to connect with the people who I wasn't close with)
- Who had roles and how we could exploit those
- How to turn the tables on the accusers who got too close to the truth
The citizens exiled who the Spies wanted them to exile. It's not a coincidence that Jessica voted in the majority in all 8 exiles (ignoring Tyler's). Every time a Spy didn't vote in the majority, it was intentional and strategic (the exception being when I went on vacation in round 4 and wasn't around to know how I should vote)
So where am I going with this? Reading the summary, which is very Anneliese-oriented for many good reasons, I feel like it only tells half the story. The story of why the citizens lost. It doesn't tell the story of why the Spies won.
And I don't really have any productive suggestions to make to the summary. Just giving my 2 cents. Consider it a footnote and a tip to future Spies.

what do you think of the 3 so far? I apologize if you felt I skewered your words and I'm open to pretty much changing anything for them.
If I have time I'll write up the Spies 4 one based on the Day by Day Recap. I'll also try and edit the first 3 to fit in what people want (I am positive we missed lots of things) if time is available.

Teamwork and the ability to divide the burg. (That means that NOT every spy needs to throw themselves at the strongest personality *cough*Sherri*cough* in the first day.) The spies took advantage of a natural split caused by the "collective" twist and used it to make it to the end practically undetected. Plus, they were awesome. There's my two cents. Oh, and I don't know why the "message from the dead" twist is stressed so much or even mentioned: the Loser's Lounge note was completely irrelevant to the outcome of the game. Basically, nobody cared. Sorry, LL guys!

"The vote comes close between Carrie and Judith, with every spy except for Claire voting for Judith. Ultimately the accusation votes from Tenchi, Jack, and Anneliese (Who are all new players to Spies) would make Judith the 3rd citizen exiled from the game."
I did NOT accuse anybody successfully.
