When she was 7 she was watching over her little brother, but got distracted by an interesting new cartoon. Consequently he drowned in the pool. She was bullied at school, but did quite well academically, as she tried to channel all her pain into her work. She dropped out of university because she couldn't handle all the pressure and all the people. She tends to be soft-spoken and very sensitive. She takes any criticism personally. Jeremiah was a well-built kid. Even from his youth he intimidated everyone around him and gained great joy from it. He always made sure to be on the side of the authority, spending his time hunting down the angry, maladjusted youths that tended to terrorize his neighborhood. However, after a run-in with a knife-wielding felon that had moved into his neighborhood, the death of his best friend caused him to rethink his life. He moved away from home and left to go to a long-stalled college.
However, Jeremiah just wasn't settled. He jumped from major to major, with no idea what he wanted to. However, one day, when it seemed like he was done trying to get settled, he decided to check out the international bounties, and lo and behold, his ancient nemesis, the felon who took his friend's life had been posted with a rather large bounty. Jeremiah efficiently hunted him down and found himself $100,000 richer. Since then, he traveled from place to place, eventually ending up in a small town rumored to be filled with deceit, doublecrossing, and secret plots. When Johan was 10, his father, a financial consultant, was offered a job in New York which he readily took. Johan stayed in the public school system of New York, where he barely passed enough classes to get by, often being scorned by his classmates for being from another country. Johan connected with a small group of friends, most of whom were also foreigners. They quickly became his only contacts in life, shutting out the others who harassed him.
Johan began taking piloting lessons after graduating high school and quickly became a licensed pilot, specializing in helicopters that he had been fascinated with since childhood. After Johan’s career took off (no pun intended) he began searching in earnest for his mother, and eventually he found her. His mother turned out to live in a brothel, and she refused to acknowledge Johan as her son. Johan became disgusted and disillusioned, and fell into a state of depression. After several years, Johan began trying to break free from his depression, and began branching back out into the world again, searching for new friends and a new social life, but part of him remained wary and distrustful of women, his views of them having been ruined by his mother.
