EXILE IV
Judge Sam: “Here’s how Exile IV worked. The original plan was to get the votes out of the way within the first 5 minutes, then move onto another activity. However, not enough people were present for the activity, so that plan was scrapped. Instead, we did Dear Abby letters which you can read by clicking on that link. Players anonymously submitted letters containing their problems and issues with Spies. These letters were answered anonymously by other players.
Because of the plan, I created the Exile Chat IV one hour before the real chat was supposed to begin. I did it as I normally would with the difference being of course that I was talking to an empty room haha. Then I changed the timestamps afterwards. The “joke” would be that I would either tell them we were travelling to the future where we would already know the results, or that I had done it and no one showed up and they were all one hour late, or that they had just somehow missed it as I did it (take your pick which, I couldn’t decide). The result was that everyone was just confused and didn’t know what was happening lol, making the announcement quite anti-climactic!
Anyway, the announcements I made were just me harping on people who probably wouldn’t have it affect them anyway (except one, and I thank them for it) so no need to repeat those here.
Sam stands up resolutely, picks up the voting shoebox, and begins walking amongst the townspeople. One by one, they drop their vote into the shoebox. Some are satisfied with their choice, others are nervous and unsure. Everyone - Citizens and Spies alike - are praying that their name does not come up.
Judge Sam: "All of the votes have been received and verified, and a result has been decided. Let the Exiling begin."

Angelica - You have been Exiled from the Burg under suspicion of being a Spy. It is now your time to leave. Goodbye.
Judge Sam: "I absolutely loved having you play the game Angelica. Your confessionals were intriguing, your gameplay was superb, and you were great to have in the game. I’m tremendously glad you decided to play. Everyone enjoyed talking with you in a normal, conversational manner, myself included. I know it doesn’t seem like something big to say, but the fact that I never had to worry about you in any way about the game really means a lot to me. Thank you and I know everyone can’t wait to read all your confessionals after the game is over!”
Angelica : Please post Final Words in your confessional immediately.
Angelica takes one last look at their former friends. Saddened by being suspected of a Spy by the people they trusted, they take their supplies and compass and head out into the wilderness, disappearing into the sunset. You will never see them again.
It is now time to find out if this person was truly a Spy. If they were, we will rejoice in becoming one step closer to safety and security. If they were not, we just cast out an innocent soul. Someone just like us. Someone who wanted to eliminate the Spies just as badly as we do.
Angelica was a....
SPY!
Judge Sam: “We did it! We caught our first Spy! Congratulations everybody!”
The Burg cheers as they have their first real success in lowering the numbers of the Spies. With 2 Spies gone back to back, the Citizens must be ecstatic.
Imprisonment V is LIVE (be online then!) at 9:00 PM CST Sunday.
