New thread because I REALLY feel that they already know who I am at the Loser's Lounge.

On cursing: On accepting players: I really hope that the profanity level of these games go down. Sure it can be entertaining at times, but it can really get annoying when people call each other "cunt" or "fuck" or whatever at every simple mishap. If there was a possible way to find that out too during applications... Really, I show these games to my colleagues who are game enthusiasts and I have received a lot of curiosity on Spies 3 (Sam you are doing a great job at this!). I am just worried that I may not be able to get the same good feedback when episodes start to air just because of the bad language used for the most of the game.

On Imprisonment Stories:
I like them. Not love them... meaning they are OK for me.
I just wish they followed a central story line or were more realistic, same reason why I liked the Storylines written (when they were still being written) for Carlsbad Caverns. Again, those are personal biases I have when it comes to game stories like these.
Technically I am not the type who just skims through the thread and see at the bottom who got Imprisoned. I read it, but I don't digest it too much.
On a lighter note, the Imprisonment/Exile stories and the reactions at the end ("another Citizen, this is getting old") are very entertaining and are very fun to read, not to mention that the time you put into making these shows how organized of a host you are.
Also, the quotes at the end of each Exile are very good and thought provoking; sometimes, even funny.

On the Video: I think you're not giving yourself more credit for the video. It is just AMAZING. The music is great. The pictures are breathtaking. The story/text is compelling. And the cast is just... er... OK. Too much profanity for some photos (?), I just wish they were cropped out instead of being blacked out. And Sherri rocks. AHHHH!!! MY EYES! I only find one flaw: some text are a bit hard to read because of the background and font. Other than that, this is definitely the BEST video you have made so far. Great job.

Pacing:
I just think the Imprisonment - Exile Cycle every four-five days is fine. But with lots of people to talk to and all the activities happening (I think there was one every episode for this game) I think a lot of players would experience some burnout at this point in the game.
The activities are fun, but I think having some regular episodes (Imprisonment-Exile only) would benefit the game. Not only it gives the players some rest, but it gives more value when a twist or activity happens. As a result, more people pay attention to those kinds of activities. I won't be surprised if a couple of people were late for the Interview. I guess some of them are just getting tired.
Simply put: too many things happening = less "wow" factor on activities. Everything sounds like a chore.

I agree with the activities. Sometimes I try and alternate easy activities with long activities. Like here's what I think they were:
1: none 2: challenge (1 hr for them, 15 hrs for me) 3: 2 spy groups + schism + talk to people on aim for investigation 4: Dear Abby at Exile (30 minutes) 5: mini-mafia game at live Imprisonment (90 minutes) 6: Critiques (maybe an hour in total, probably 2.5 hrs for me) 7: Trial 8: Rankings (maybe 15 minutes for them, 5 hrs tallying / bugging people for me) 9: Interview (not sure how long for them, but it doesn't require any time for me!) <3 also the mole game which I enjoyed creating and sped through in 3 hrs, but took 2 hrs to run lol.
Might not do an activity for 10 since we had 2 activities for 9, which is unusual, but the mole game was a decision I wasn't sure was going to happen because we needed 7-8 people online at the same time and the #'s are dwindling down! But yeah that's lots of stuff to do for 9, though it is a 6 day episode.

On Alternate Leaderboards: Its a great idea plus it looks neater. Also, you may want to try reducing the opacity of the pictures of eliminated players. The way you reduced the opacity in Spies 2 and Spies 3 were just fine. I think the Spies 4 leaderboards just have too much opacity that it looks cluttered.

Oh and the whole Sherri thing... oh man that in itself has tons of memories lol. It almost went totally out of control, as you'll see in Sherri's confessional in episode 1. A lot went into that character of Sherri and the person who played it is AWESOME. For awhile there I almost thought it was TOO successful of a character. Sherri was one of the most active and became for a short time a central figure and was one of the most upfront in her suspicions. Here was the problem: Since she was so outspoken and upfront and personable, I thought that when she was Imprisoned it would spook people and they would do the *opposite* (i.e. be boring) in order not to be Imprisoned! That would be a disaster! Not sure how much of that happened but I don't think the result was too bad. Also, some people like to guess who the person who will be first Imprisoned is, and it made me grin every time they suggested someone who wasn't Sherri. Even when it was down to the final 3 vulnerable they didn't think it was her lol. That's awesome, in every other game people picked out the fake right away! Actually Sherri has been posting in the Loser's Lounge, so when that is released you'll see more of her motherly personality there. Thank you Sam!!! Anyway, I forgot to reply to the activities thing (we posted almost at the same time I didn't see it.) Alternating is a good idea. But no activity then a major twist/surprise is better. Plus it gives you some rest too.
