If you haven't figured it out yet, nobody cares what you have to say, Damon. Many people think you're a spy, and lots of people believe you to be boring, also. As was stated in your very own "I'm not going to be here...EVER" thread, WE DON'T CARE. If you're here or not, you never contribute anything helpful to the citizens, and it's starting to wear down people's patiences. I don't think I've ever seen you on AIM, so you might want to try logging on every now and then to get to know the other people in the Burg. It could help your position greatly, I believe. That's how I think you could improve upon your strategy.

Loosen up, man. It may be a tough game, but it's still a game. You're taking things far too personally, and it's kinda grating, to be honest.

Damon, your posts are interesting but you need to focus more on the big picture instead of just responding to things as they come up. Also, would it kill you to be more social in this game? Stop waiting for people to approach you and approach them for once. PMs are your friend. Also you suck for saying you'll be on "vacation" so you can get drunk every weekend.

1. Some people have said your strategy in this game revolves around laying low. Clearly this was apparent with Damon v. 1 and now it seems very apparent with you. What IS your strategy, and why are you employing that strategy?

Let's be fair. Damon v.1 was inactive and didn't vote. Laying low is much different. As far as my strategy goes I'll do anything to find a Spy. For a while I thought the way to do this was to be quiet and watch what went on the Burg without involve myself. Instead people involved me and I had to change my point of view on everything and start becoming involved, asking questions, and sorting through the bullshit and the truth.

2. You seem to be more in the interest of self-preservation than catching spies. If you make it to the end, it's not a guaranteed victory (especially if you are a spy). Why haven't you been more vocal? And don't try to use your BS vacation as an excuse, you've been in this game for weeks now, I want a real reason.

This ties into the first question. I remained on the quiet side so I could view and take in everything. I admit it wasn't the best way to jump into the game but from the start I was the new player and taking up a post of someone who had been inactive. I tried to put my opinions out there and was involved in discussions as best as I could be. But at first it was simply because I couldn't keep up (you all were playing an intense game at that point, and too much of it was done behind the scenes). I tried to fascilitate more conversation on the board and made points as to why discussion was good. I did a lot of watching from the side lines and now that you and Singe had done such a spectacular job drawing me out I'm joining discussions again and starting them as well.

3. Who do you trust and why? Be absolutely specific. If you trust nobody, who do you think is a citizen and why? If you think no one is a citizen, then why?

It would be easy for me to say that I've come to trust Kip and Masaki only because they tend to be online when I can be. I honestly don't trust anyone explicitly but they are the closest that I've come to trusting someone. For some time I trusted Hannah and Cain, but those were the early days of the game, and until she departed I trusted Adelaide the most. None of these people were privy to my observation thread and detailed thoughts, just my general ones, those I saved to share wit hthe group at large (more lately than ever before). At this moment there is so much going on. I think that Summer is about the only person who isn't on my suspect list at the moment.

4. Who do you think is a spy and why? If you're not sure, why not?

I've stated my opinion with proof that Candy is a Spy. I'm also questioning Singe after the latest bit of information came out. Angelica's continual change of subject with Leon was a bit confusing to me as well. There seems to be plenty of evidence against Masaki, as you've posted Zander.

5. Can you explain your little tick list in a little more detail. What do ticks indicate, citizenness or spyness?

Sure, what a great question! My tick list is something I've been keeping since I entered the game. It isn't as through as it could've been had I more time to really get into depth with all of the posts and information I have. It's as good as it gets though, as far as I can accomplish here. A + mark means a tick against them, something that make them appear scummy. A - mark indicates they did something good to appear more like a Cit. For the most part I pay attention to those who have 4 or more marks simply because things are adding up against them.

6. Who, in your opinion, does not deserve to still be in the game or should have been eliminated a while ago, and why?

I think we all desrve to be here but there are several I'd really appreciate to see more out of. I've stepped up and remain still so let's see the rest do it - Faizah and Abrams. I definitely agree that it's time for everyone to step up and start contributing. The more conversation the more there is to work with.

spies4Damon: Well I'm sure it seems that way because I always seem to be attacked while I'm on away on vacation. By the time I get back all that I can do is defend myself. In all honesty in the beginning I posted a lot more and I've kept up with the Burg. I may not have posted as much information as I was capable of but I was never truly in the shadows.

Why do you think people are suspecting you now?

I think that mostly everyone has become a suspect now. We're getting down to the wire and you have to seriously consider everyone left in the game. I would be hard pressed to find someone that I was absolutely sure was a Citizen. As such a lot of theories start circulating and in my case they selected me to draw me out of my shell.

What are some moves you have personally done to benefit the Burg?

I think two of my most poignant moves occured early on. The first was getting the Burg to come to an understanding of the terms 'inactive' and 'lurking' since it made some strategies more clear. The second was my snagging of Bev as a Spy before the investigation became public knowledge. I think more recently, when Zander and Sing eand Candy drew me from the shell, I've been contributing theories and content to the Burg to use in our hunt.

Do you think the spies are completely fooling everyone, are are we onto them more than they think? Why or why not, and what (if anything) can we do to help ourselves?

I honestly believe that between all of us we have to be getting hot on their tails. Why else would they be grouping together and using the same objections (i.e. Imprisoning Roles)? I think we need to flesh out all of our theories and go on the evidence that we have. Somewhere in our discussions there's something damning and we need to sift through all the bullshit first.

Should people fear imprisonment if they have nothing to hide?

The reason to fear imprisonment is to fear not being able to share anything with the game anymore. And losing any kind of influence that was had in sharing opinions and ideas. Losing people like Adelaide is a blow to the Burg, frankly.

If you were a spy, how would you base your imprisonments?

I'd make them as confusing as hell. Singe has already told them that to win they need to imprison Spies and not Cits. Instead they're going after Roles. That makes us start thinking about their motives and what their strategies are. It's not as confusing as I'd want it to be if I were a Spy but they seem to be keeping us guessing.

If you were a citizen, how would you avoid imprisonment?

If I was a Cit with a Role I wouldn't share it with a soul. If I was a Vanilla Cit then I'd likely try and hide (as some have done and some are doing). But at this point in the game you have got to work all out and forget the threat of imprisonment. It could hurt to lose someone vocal but at least you had their vocality while they were in the game. And if everyone becomes vocal than the losses aren't felt as harshly.

Why do elephants have such a LONG gestation period?

I'm sure I don't know.

What is the perfect strategy for this game in terms of making it to the end as a citizen, as a spy?

For a Cit to make it to the end they need to find a balance between shadows and light. They need to learn to speak up enough not to be seen as inactive or lurking and they need to stay quiet enough so not to interest the Spies. As a Spy it's to cause confusion and keep your behind clear of any bullshit.

Who will win Spies: 4? Trad, Ortho, or Cits? Why do you think?

I hope us Cits can pull through. I don't think I'd be surprised if one of the Spies one at this rate. However.. I'm putting my faith in the Cit's abilities to ferrett them out.
