I managed to keep my Bodyguard role secret from EVERYONE for a month and a half, and I managed to stay alive into the final twelve players. My role evolved from a so-so Role to a REALLY AWESOME role Episode IX, since I'd protected everyone including myself exactly once. Question is, though, who do I choose to protect? Answer: talk to our returning GUARANTEED CITIZEN, Gordy <3 So I'm about to fly out of town for work and I get a post from Sam saying he wants the Bodyguard choice SOON. I try and try and try to get a hold of Gordy but he's not showing up. I get to my hotel on the road at 11PM and I have a message waiting from Sam: CHOICE DUE NOW OR YOU PROTECT NO ONE So Gordy pops online about midnight and even though I'm supposed to start a new job in 6 hours, I stay on to chat and tell him what's up... ... and Gordy tells me that: 1) The Loser's Lounge all think I'm a Spy 2) I'm bullshitting my role 3) That he's going to out my role publicly unless "I Imprison Leon, Masaki or Faizah next turn". So I try and try to persuade him that I'm not bullshitting, but the details of my role are so... WEIRD that he doesn't believe me. So I get NO useful info from Gordy on who's a Cit and who's not, and so I basically flip a coin to decide who to protect. Then, the next day, I check my Spies PMs at work (probably not so wise first day on the job) and there's a message from Johan telling me he knows my role and he's tight with Candy. Of course, I have no reason to trust either of them, so I'm freaking out that Gordy's ratted out my role after I managed to keep it secret for 45 days. Then, Johan sends me an accidental PM intended for Candy and it confirms my suspicions that he and Candy are playing me for a fool, LOL. So I do damage control for a day or two, no one believes me, Candy leaks hints all over the place that I'm this fake "Bodyguard" Role, Gordy threatens me over and over again, Candy tells me the Loser's Lounge loves her and hates me, and I'm checking Spies PMs and forums instead of doing my job half the time, LOL. As it turns out, Candy was a confirmed Cit to Gordy, and Johan was somewhat confirmed, so what Gordy did wasn't nearly as stupid as I thought. It sure made my life crazy for a few days though.

Oh, and imagine my chagrin when Johan was Imprisoned about 12 hours after I learned about his role...

This was probably one of my favorite episodes.
Gordy came back and he and I had such a great time together. He's probably one of the most openly loving people I've ever met online. He's all about <3 <3 <3 and if he gets sad because he's not giving or receiving love he'll break out the chainsaw but even then he's always always always about the <3 <3 <3
I think I have 50 PMs from that episode alone between trading info with Johan and Gordy and telling Singe to piss off.
I made Gordy promise to not tell the LL people about my role - that's how paranoid I was - but then when Bunni, Damon, Singe, Leon and Mistaki (my absolute least favorite people in this game, gee I wonder why ... well fine Mistaki's not too bad because he was only doing his job) started acting on the plots they had planned since episode 6 came after me with lots of "Candy has to be a spy and let's exile her" I had to come forward and make sure I wasn't exiled.
The blindside of Mistaki almost worked and would have worked if we didn't have 2 inactive players. That was sweet.
Winning the mini mole game was AWESOME.
Johan's imprisonment SUCKED. That almost got me exiled too.
Then the Kip v Mistaki thing was pretty awesome too. I would have been happy with either exile.
So this episode had my 2 favorite moments (mini mole game, hitting Mistaki twice) and my 2 least favorite moments (fighting to not be exiled, Johan's imprisonment)

because Gordy said he had 0 reasons to suspect Leon. 3) That he's going to out my role publicly unless "I Imprison Leon, Masaki or Faizah next turn". I just got kinda confused here. If he didnt suspect me, why would he ask you to imprison me?

Ah, what can I say.
This was by far the best episode of the game for me. Starting with Gordy coming back and giving me a Citizen Role Investigation. I was so happy to potentially gain an ally. When Singe came up positive I literally jumped for joy. Little did I know that it would come full circle and almost end my game.
Then we had the Leon/Masaki Exile where Abrams idled out. Both looked like good votes at the time, but I settled on Leon then, and when Gordy came to me with the plot to blindside Masaki I kept my vote on Leon. Abrams then gets Expelled, and the Burg explodes into topics accusing Candy of being a Spy. I had planned a huge rant on the subject, but Candy spoiled it by claiming to be the Fatemaker and then telling everyone to vote for.
My world was crushed, I was so sure I'd be going, but the vote tied, and Singe was forced to vote me. I was even more sure I was gone, so I collected suspicions and called Faizah out in AIM, so my exit helped the Burg, only to have Hannah swap the vote and oust Masaki, a Spy. My heart was pounding for an hour after the vote...

Wow, Gordy coming back was interesting. Right before his exile Gordy told me that, because the spies had tried to imprison him the week before, his investigative role had been triggered, and he had gotten a little paranoid and investigated me, and i had come up citizen, which made me very happy, cos i was like yay i never have to be exiled cos now i have this to prove i am a citizen! Gordy also sent candy a very cryptic message from which we couldnt tell whether zander had actually been investigated, or whether gordy was just guessing that he was a citizen. So then Gordy gets back and is like, oh sorry i didnt tell u, but ur actually not 100% confirmed, i could only investigate as to whther someone was a trad spy or an ortho spy, and i picked trad. so ur not a trad spy, thats all....(man if he had picked ortho spy i would be making it to the end not being exiled tonight). so this, naturaly, burst my little bubble of safety and happiness....
and then Abrams....my my, i was simultaneously amused and horrified by him STILL not knowing the rules and getting himself kicked out...gets the award for "stupidest citizen" in my book.
I was also SO CLOSE to the end of the mini mole game, if summer hadnt done such a good job of pretending to be the mole, we mite have won...

This round was so !$#%^@# for me. I hated it. I couldnt get online all day, the day of exile, and im going through the chat thinking im freakin exiled then *oop* Abrams killed himself. Jesus Christ. I had a heart attack I swear to god. If it wasn't for that, I would be gone and outta here. Kind of like how Kip feeled at the next exile. Speaking of next exile. Ah, that was awesome. We nailed the last Trad all thanks to Zander, and that turned the entire round for me. Being so close to exile one round, nailing a spy in the same one, just awesome. Lets see, what else happened that round... Kinda hard for me since I missed one of the most important days :-\. Wasn't there for the mini mole game, never really talked to Johan so I can't comment on that. Ah! Learning that Gordy was coming back, duhr. I didnt really speak to him as much as I would've liked, but that made my day haha. I mean, we all missed Gordy , seeing him back was one of the best things that couldve happened to us.

How can you not love this round? We nailed the last traditionalist to the Wall and did it in quite a spectacular fashion. Just the way this round played out became a huge memory. There was first the Exile of Johan, a Roled Citizen, the announcement of Johan's Roles and the messages. Then we had the Leon/Masaki vote where the majority of the Burg was almost underminded by a minority via Accusations and in the end Abrams idled out. Only to turn around and have the next drama occur when the previous majority decided to go after Masaki while the previous minority wanted to oust Kip to prove Candy's theory. And in the end we were all right in thinking Masaki was a Spy - the last Traditionalist. What a dramatic and eventful episode!
