Does looking at the list of questions and the options and a (claimed) fatemaker provide any new insights?

Well I've always thought it was Candy or Summer. I haven't given it much thought, really.

Actually, I was absolutely sure it was Candy.
I just didn't tell you two! XD
That's not to say I didn't tell anyone however...

You thought it wa Candy because I posted it in the Spy HQ :-)
I've been fairly certain it was her ever since I got that critique. Right after Bev got exiled, I told her to her face I thought she was the Fatemaker. Convenient timing on that critique? I think not.

Well the plan that I came up with (I'm all about credit!) was pick Candy to be investigated, and when Sam had the immunity question, if they picked Candy, that meant either;
a) Candy was a citizen (we thought she was a spy at the time)
or b) Candy was the fatemaker
When no one tried to protect Candy really, it became pretty clear.

I knew it was Candy when she said she investigated Beverly. I didn't buy that 'I investigate her two rounds ago' stuff for a second. Don't know if my Spymates were able to connect those dots, though...

You realize now her power increases??? After the last Trad left, my partner and I got to choose BOTH her options, but she also had the option of choosing "neither of these" (Which I think is BS)
And weobviously chose Kip/Myself for the immunity FateMaker decision, hoping not only that I would be safe, but that it would *look* like the perfect set up on my part, and Candy would have believed me even more.
But you see where I am sooo....

Wonderful.
BTW, if I know Singe's line of thinking as well as I hope I do, he is going to protect himself this week, despite whatever he is saying. I hope your partner is going to imprison Candy.
It's the only scenario that makes sense. Your partner cannot win without trying to pick off one of those two, because an endgame with two confirmed and an unconfirmed guarantees a Citizen win. He knows eventually they'll target one of those two.
However, if Singe consistently protects himself, it is guaranteed that either Singe makes it to the endgame(good thing), or that his doctor role will be triggered(good thing). So why protect Candy? If he makes the wrong move, and he is imprisoned, Candy no longer has a protection, and Singe's role will never be triggered. If that happens early enough, the endgame will have no confirmed Citizens.
Basically...
Protecting Candy = non-guaranteed good outcome. Protecting Singe = guaranteed good outcome.
I guess it all depends on whether or not Singe & Candy are thinking along those lines. I would definitely clip Candy this round, though.
...And I guess it's within the realm of possibility that Singe _CAN'T_ protect himself.
What do you guys think?

Singe is the King of the double bluff. If I were the last Spy standing, I'd call him on it and try and Imprison him.
Plus, there's this. (Sam'll hate me for doing this... but meh...) From Imprisonment IX:
This leads me to believe that Singe cannot outright stop an Imprisonment. Granted, I could be reading too much into this, but I feel it's worth mentioning. But ignoring that, as you said Masaki, Singe and Candy in the endgame is bad news. If the last Spy standing is going to win this, it's go big or go home.

You're right. I'm sure his role doesn't outright prevent it, but it would still be a "good" thing guaranteed to happen : Either his role being triggered, or Singe making it to the endgame.
It's a huge WIFOM thing when it comes down to what Singe wants the Spy to do - they could really take his message any way and imprison anyone. Singe & Candy can't predict it. If I was in his shoes, I'd just protect myself from here on out, because doing so guarantees that if I don't make it to the endgame(imprisoned), that the good things from his role are triggered, while still falling into the criteria of "flipping a coin" between the two people he said he'd protect.
I guess the question is whether or not Singe thinks the Spy has thought that over. But then you enter into the world of WIFOM once again. :-(
Guess we'll find out tomorrow. :-)

It's so nerve wracking. Once Candy knew I was a goner, and a spy, she made sure to IM me assuring me Singe couldnt protect himself, which I think she was just saying that so my partner WOULD imprison him, and he would have saved himself all along, resulting in no one being imprisoned.

SINGE is so full of shit with his "Candy should be Imprisoned" thing. I don't buy it for half a second.
